Our Mission

The Natural Resource Department’s role is to enhance the well-being of the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe now and into the future.

To accomplish the general goal, the Department will work toward providing services that will build the internal capabilities of the Tribe, developing Tribal regulations and to manage its own resources in an environmentally responsible manner that fit the Tribe’s goals, culture, and philosophy,

The Department will work with the other Tribal departments to ensure the Tribe continues to comply with Federal Regulations and ensure that all aspects of land use, utilities and projects done for the Tribe provide the best possible beneficial use of all its resources.
